Chicago Union Station front with pre-Amtrak RR signs.
3 years after Amtrak the signs were still up showing the railroads that operated intercity passenger service (and commuter) out of Union Station.
At this time in '74 all were still operating commuter trains with the Illinois Central running the ex-GM&O train to Joliet.
